Sincerely Technologies has released a module based on the nRF52840 low power Bluetooth (Bluetooth < Low Energy / Bluetooth LE) system-level chip (SoC) model RF-BM-ND05. NRF52840 is an advanced version of the NRF52 series of high-performance Bluetooth 5, with rich features and peripherals, flexibility to support a wide range of network connectivity products for wearable settings, games, VR / AR, and home and industrial IOT applications.At present, the NRF52840 module of Shin Chi DA has been fully produced and has passed FCC certification.
NRF52840 module with Nordic's S140 protocol stack (Nordic's latest RF Bluetooth 5 (Low Power Bluetooth LE) authentication software or protocol stack) production-level version, and the new version of Nordic Nrf5 software development kit (SDK), this is a complete peripheral driver support nRF52840 SoC production-level development tools. In addition, NRF52840 also has NRF5 SDK for MESH to provide development.
The NRF52840 module is based on Nordic's mature NRF52 architecture. Compared with previous low-power Bluetooth specifications, the main advantages of Bluetooth 5 include: 2 Mbps wireless raw data bandwidth (2Mbps), 4 times long-distance communication range, 8 times broadcast scalability (increasing the broadcast packet payload size to 251 bytes), and improved channel coexistence algorithm.
